Am I worthy of love?

#1

Am I worthy of love, even when I’m messed up?

It really is not a question of being worthy or not, being deserving or not. Rather, it is the availability of Love that we should all be aware of. Love is available to us regardless of who we are, what we have done, how messed up our lives have been.

Rather than think about qualifications for being loved, let’s focus on the fact that Love is always available for us.

Nothing can separate us from the Love of Christ.

It’s not really about you, it is more about the person doing the loving. Like Jesus didn’t love us because of who or what we are but because his make up is love, so whether you are loved by people or not is not about you but the people doing the loving.

What makes love ‘love’ is the ability to be shown to one who isn’t deserving. You are worthy of love, God’s love and human whether you consider yourself worthy or not, what’s key is “will you accept this love?”
